1. About the project

Below The Unknown is an underwater discovery and entertainment content project run by an individual creator (the channel owner). It publishes short videos on YouTube. This website explains the project and its policies. It is not a software service, and it does not offer accounts, sign-in, purchases or subscriptions.

2. Entertainment only

Below The Unknown videos are made for entertainment. They are not scientific, historical, safety or diving guidance, and should not be relied on as factual records.

3. AI-generated (synthetic) content

The scenes in Below The Unknown videos are created with generative AI tools and may look realistic. They do not show real dives, real discoveries, real wrecks, real animal encounters or real events, unless a specific video clearly says otherwise. Videos are disclosed on YouTube as altered or synthetic content.

4. YouTube

Videos are hosted on YouTube, and the project uses YouTube API Services to publish to its own channel. When you watch or interact with the videos on YouTube, you do so under the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The Below The Unknown name, videos, text and other original material on this website and channel belong to the channel owner, except for material owned by third parties (for example, software tools or licensed assets), which remains the property of its owners. You may share links to the videos, but you may not re-upload, sell or pass off the content as your own without permission.

6. Third-party services

The project uses third-party services, including YouTube/Google, a self-hosted automation tool (n8n), generative AI tools and website hosting. Those services are governed by their own terms, and the project is not responsible for them.

7. No warranty and limitation of liability

This website and the videos are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the channel owner is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the website or the videos.
